Dolphin Chefs

dolphin

CANBERRA – Dolphins are the chefs of the seas, having been seen going through precise and elaborate preparations to rid cuttlefish of ink and bone to produce a soft meal of calamari, Australian scientists say.

A wild female Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphin was observed going through the same series of complicated steps to prepare cuttlefish prey for eating in the Spencer Gulf, in South Australia state.

“It’s a sign of how well their brains are developed. It’s a pretty clever way to get pure calamari without all the horrible bits,” Mark Norman, the curator of mollusks at Museum Victoria and a research team member, told the Canberra Times newspaper.

earmuffs… to the ear muff?! i think i’m going to bring those back because they were definitlely convenient and got the job done. Remember the ones, where the part you put on your head coils up and brings both ears of the ear muffs together like thos pink hostess snacks? All that would be needed is Prada do a pair doubled as headphones! Then everyone would be trying to get a pair. i’m going to find my 3 dollar ear muffs and rock them faithfully! Don’t sass me for doing, you’ll probably be next! lol

NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM

October 26, 2008 · Leave a Comment

At one point i said to myself i wasn’t going to post about my beliefs because i wanted to capture the attention of all walks of life. But that is no longer my concern. My concern is presenting the truth and sticking to the foundation of my faith and what this blog is about: changing perspectives, not starting trends and in this case, NOT BECOMING APART OF ONE!

For as long as i’ve known, the topic of Novus Ordo Seclorum has intrigued mw since i first laid eyes on the dollar bill. I wanted to know the history of this New World Order and the symbol of the pyramid with the “all seeing eye” on the top. I even once thought about joining some regimes that are involved with the fundamental design of the New World Order or the One World Government! But then… Jesus Christ saved me and i mean saved me from myself and this world. So its only right, that i shed light on what i know of the darkness for the sake of the Kingdom of GOD, so that hopefully some may turn to Him as He graced me.

There are so many intermingling secret socities that all have to do with the New World Order some trumpng others, but for the most part, if you do your research you’ll see a common denominator in names pop up in each group. A few of the groups are: illuminati, CFR (Council on Foreign Relations), the Trilateral Commission, the NAU (North American Union), of course the UN (United Nations), Skull & Bones, and my favorite, the Freemasons, which is the secret society i almost joined as there are members of my family embedded in this tradition.

As i was doing some of my research, i came across a blog that had some interesting facts. the blog is entitled Kingdom Engineers, which there is a link to under my FAVES. i’m not truly sure who the author is nor do i care to know. i know the truth when i see it. what intrigued me first about their blog was the use of Jewish/Old Testament laws and traditions in relationship to Jesus Christ/New Testament. The Old Testament being type and shadows or ensamples of Jesus Christ. But this authored used the 7 feasts in a way all new to me.

As i continued reading the blog, the author has a post dated June 6, 2008 entitled “Christians Accused of Hate Crimes! (REX-84 Concentration Camps?)”  and what i found most interesting is that, he/she has these things posted, with one of them already in effect. That one being the ECONOMIC CRISIS the world is in today because of the fall of our economy. Read along and keep in mind, this was posted on June 6, 2008 (the summer) and watch closely for these other events to occur:

Word has begun leaking from last nights special, closed-door session of the United States House of Representatives.

Not only did members discuss new surveillance provisions as was the publicly stated reason for the closed door session, they were also bluntly warned about:

  • the imminent collapse of the U.S. economy to occur by September 2008,
  • the imminent collapse of US federal government finances by February 2009,
  • the possibility of Civil War inside the USA as a result of the collapse,
  • advance round-ups of “insurgent U.S. citizens” likely to move against the government,
  • The detention of those rounded-up at “REX 84” camps constructed throughout the USA,
  • the possibility of retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses,
  • the location of “safe facilities” for members of Congress and their families to reside during expected massive civil unrest
  • the necessary and unavoidable merger of the United States with Canada (for its natural resources) and with Mexico (for its cheap labor pool),
  • the issuance of a new currency – THE AMERO (Watch all 3 Parts) – for all three nations as the proposed solution to the coming economic Armageddon.

Members of Congress were FORBIDDEN to reveal what was discussed and ABC News via WCPO web site CONFIRMS congress members were FORBIDDEN to talk about it!

“what is worth for one to gain the world and lose his soul in the process?” like i’ve always asked of my readers, don’t believe me!! i want you to go look it up for yourselves. And to those who have professed their faith in Jesus Christ, don’t be scared of those things that seem out of your control. like many of us, we just want to live our daily lives and be oblivious to those things of the world. But Jesus called us, and the job of any saint is to effectively evangelize by spreading the GOOD NEWS. And what better way to spread the Gospel than relating it to things that are actually effecting our daily lives? So please read… THE BIBLE!

there is so much more to be reported on like the RFID chip, the Papacy, and other institutions that work against the kingdom of GOD… LORD willing, i’ll get to the bottom of it all for His glory!

Snappy Snapper

October 9, 2008 · 1 Comment

When you’re young and living on your own, i unfortunately found out, you might want to learn how to cook for yourself. My sister purchased me Rachel Ray’s 30 minute meals for Men when i moved into my apartment and i haven’t stopped cooking since. So to help out some of you other young independents, i’ll be searching for meals for you that aren’t pre-cooked, frozen in a box. Keep in mind too, i’m going to challenge (some of) your taste palletes to step outside the paradigm of what it’s use to. Then maybe your friends will start to hate on your cooking like my friends hate on mine lol!

i haven’t tried this yet but i have some snapper in the fridge. i’ll let you know how it works out!

Snapper with Roasted Grape Tomatoes, Garlic, and Basil

Cook time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups grape tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • Pinch red pepper flakes
  • Kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 4 (6-ounce) snapper fillets, with skin
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Position a rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F.

Toss the tomatoes with 1 tablespoon of the olive oil, garlic, vinegar, pepper flakes, and salt, to taste. Spread out on a baking sheet and roast until the tomatoes get juicy, about 15 minutes. Transfer tomatoes to a bowl and toss with the basil.

Dry the fish very well all over. To keep the fish from curling in the pan, lightly slash a cross-hatch pattern into the skin of the fish with a sharp knife. Brush the rounded flesh side of the fish with the remaining olive oil. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Place the fish, seasoned side down, in the oil, and cook undisturbed over high heat, until the fish turns both opaque along the edges and golden on the bottom, about 3 minutes. Lightly salt the skin side of the fish. Flip the snapper and turn off the heat and let the fish cook in the residual heat of the pan until the fillets are firm but still juicy, about 1 minute more.

Divide the fish among 4 plates. Top with the tomatoes and serve.

Do the Duffel

View all Dufflebags (Opens in Window)

As you begin to travel more (passport recommended) you’ll begin to notice that backpacks can get old, bothersome, and burdensome on ones back. Not that the timeless piece would every go out of style or functionality but sometimes you just need a change.

And what better to change to than the Duffle bag?! If your money doesn’t stretch far enough to purchase one of the designer Duffles you see in the slide-show or you’re like me and want to go cheap first to see if it suits you, Urban Outfitters and H&M are one of the few stores who have great quality, stylish, and affordable duffle bags to get you on your way.

To those in transition from fly & flashy to grown & sophisticated, i urge you young jetsetters to purchase a duffle bag. And to add even more flare for your individuality, tie your choice scarf, bandana, or shemagh around one of the bag’s handles. You may never go back!
